The process takes approximately 20 to 30 hours on each individual diamond. Firstly, the diamond must be appraised by a cutter to ascertain what will be the best result (the weight and quality from the rough diamond). Then the cutting process starts by laser or saw to get the approximate size of the diamond. Then the diamond moves onto girdling to give it its initial shape. The final process is the faceting to give the diamond its brilliance. Then it goes to the laboratory for certification.
