In 1970 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jeff Einstein started his jewellery apprenticeship which fuelled his passion for design. Within 2 years, Jeff got the role as top designer of a prestigious jewellery house. During his 6 years at the company he won several De Beers Awards for his cutting edge designs.
He then moved on to open his own design and manufacturing studio. What started as a small studio rapidly grew to include a retail store with a manufacturing workshop with on-site jewellers.
After his success in South Africa, in 1990, Jeff, his wife, Helen and two children moved to Sydney, Australia, where Jeff began designing and manufacturing custom pieces out of a small workshop. As his tiny new studio got busier and grew, he needed the help of 2 more jewellers and additional space. In 1993 Jeff opened his first store in Sydney, in the cosmopolitan shopping area of Double Bay, where his now expanded manufacturing workshop and store are still located, on Knox Street.
With an immense passion for jewellery, Jeff endeavours to create designs at the forefront of the fashion world. He and his wife and business partner, Helen constantly travel the world looking for the latest trends. Jeff, with his vast experience in the jewellery industry has won many awards for his beautiful designs.
His latest award is in recognition of his place in the Australian bridal jewellery market – he won the “Jewellery of the Year, Sydney”, at the 2014 “Awards for Excellence” at the WEOA (Wedding and Events of Australia) annual ceremony.
